India Maritime Exhibition in Mumbai January 2015 is an International Exhibition and Conference on Ports, Shipping, Logistics and Marine Technology. The motive of India Maritime 2015 exhibition in Mumbai was – Strengthening and creating a sustainable maritime industry. This exhibition was held in Bombay Exhibition Center Hall no.6 Goregaon (W) Mumbai. It was a three days show starting from 08th January 2015 to 10th January 2015.
The Ministry of Shipping has partnered with Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) to organize Exhibition in Mumbai January 2015 – India Maritime. This exhibition in Mumbai was to identify opportunities, policy interventions required, and innovative solutions and to demonstrate the latest in maritime technology. India is a major maritime nation by virtue of its long coast line of around 7517 kms on the western and eastern shelves of the mainland and also along the islands, bejeweled with 13 major and 176 non-major ports, strategically located on the world’s shipping routes. It has a long tradition of seafaring with a large pool of trains maritime personnel, and its dynamic and rapidly globalizing economy with a vast potential in expand its participation in trade and development.

There were same number of shell scheme stalls and customized stalls in the exhibition. The customized stalls in the exhibition were not very big, but were creative. The display of boats / yachts model in many of the stalls enhanced the beauty of the stalls and overall exhibition.
